Evgeniy Sorbo is a self-educated fashion and portrait photographer living in Moscow. Working in studio and at locations he makes close observations of his subjects that timelessly carry the delicate encounters she choreographs with his camera. He collaborates with both male and female subjects, to create images of beauty and movement. Evgeniy’s photographs convey an intense sense of place and the heightened moment of photographic engagement with his subject—always bridging the divide between fashion, portrait photography and report. His images range from elegantly pared down studio portraits were the subtlest gestures declare the character of the sitter to on-location, cinematic narratives. He has created editorial photographs for magazines including Glamour, Tatler, Allure, EyeRepublic, Kaltblut, Vulkan, HUF etc.
His commercial clients include Alexandre Terekhov, Sultana Fransuzova, Blake Kuwahara, Russian Silk, Uliana Sergeenko, Yulia Prokhorova, Assai, Aleksandra Vanushina, Grunge John Orchestra, B Fyne etc.
